I’m very happy to write music for special occasions: weddings, recitals, concerts, etc.
The process isn’t as daunting as it may seem, in fact it’s rather simple. Contact me, let me know what you’re looking (wedding song, liturgical music, chamber music piece, choral piece, a hymn, etc) and we’ll work together to get you what you want. It’s helpful if you knew what text you would like to have set (Shakespeare, Biblical passage, favorite poem) or what instruments will be playing. That’s it – pretty easy.
My pricing is quite competitive and I’m happy to provide references from pleased clients.
A list of recent commissions include:
- The song cycle “I Love Red Poppies”
- A wedding song “My bounty is as boundless as the sea” from Romeo and Juliet
- A hymn for congregation
- An organ prelude
- A setting of Psalm 27 “The Lord is my light and my salvation”
- A wedding prelude for piano – audio track below
